The begin process of a cremation in the electric cremator is called electric incineration. The electric cremation furnace or incinerator is a high powered furnace. The body will be charged into the combustion chamber or so called retort. The crematory (also known as retort) is lined with refractory bricks that can withstand high fluctuations in temperature, also there are holes at the bottom of the furnace chamber. Through these holes, air can flow to cool or to increase the cremation process. In a electric crematorium, the electrical connections do not need any particular fitting and a simple 400 Volts three phase electrical outlet is all that is required. The fitting of devices that prevent any dispersion from the cremation chamber have eliminated smoke and odors. Therefore a cremation filter system is installed. The cremation gets completed in about 60 to 90 minutes maximum depend upon the body size and other biological reasons.
Electric cremator & filter installation
A cremation filter installation is installed behind the electric cremation furnace. So that cleaning of gasses and flue can take place in this high-tech cremator filter system. A crematory can choose if the electric crematorium oven also need to be equipped with a venturi scrubber. This device is designed to effectively use the energy from the inlet gas stream to atomize the liquid being used to scrub the gas stream. This type of technology is a part of the group of air pollution controls collectively and is referred to as wet scrubbers. The hazardous gas and other substances are piped out from cremation chamber and cleaned by venturi scrubber with water treatment and finally the hot air is being discharged into the chimney. Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) system can take care of treated water. And or other technologies can be used to storage or recovery of heat / energy.
